Many thanks to you all for your support in helping us adapt to our ‘new normal’. The children coped really well with the day and settled down quickly again to school life.
The staff have reviewed the day and we feel that mornings could run more smoothly so we have made a few tweaks.
· The gates to the main yard will open at 8.40am for Years 4, 5 and 6 and from that time they can come into the yard and begin to filter into their classrooms.
· We must insist that it is ONE parent/carer or older sibling only that comes into the yard to drop off or collect the children. This is to avoid overcrowding around the school.
· Finally it is really important that drop off and collection times are adhered to. While I appreciate the difficulties of dropping off siblings at different times, we do not have the staffing to resource dropping off outside these times and if children are late coming in they are missing valuable learning time.
Again many thanks for your continued support in these challenging and changing times.
